Take a look over at
TicketCity.com. There are a few jokers already listing their entire season's worth of tickets for sale. Want a ticket against Texas? Upwards of $395. For one half of football, max. Riiight...
It worries me that people are buying UCF seasons like they're downtown condos. It seems like folks are buying blocks of ten seats in addition to a pair in the donor section. While this is good financially for the program (at least, in the immediate term), you have to wonder how many will be left empty when demand for scalped ULL tickets proves to be nonexistent.
It's even more disappointing knowing how many loyal fans got pushed out of their "choice" seats from the brisk sales. I'd imagine over the next couple of years it will all work itself out though. It's just going to take much more than a 4 win season to maintain the season ticket totals, or else the market might bottom out ;)
